Bring your own pup, meet fellow dog lovers, or take one of the Ojai Humane Society’s adoptable dogs out for a walk. Whether you’re a lifelong dog owner, thinking about adopting, or simply love being around dogs, everyone is welcome.
Coffee Social Hour | 8:00–9:00 ish AM
: Start the morning with coffee, meet fellow dog lovers, mingle with local vendors, and get to know the Humane Society’s adoptable dogs before we head out. Complimentary Pinholita Coffee.
Community Walk | 9:00–10:00 ish AM
: Bring your own dog or borrow one of our shelter dogs for an easy community walk through Ojai. It’s a chance to get outside, connect with others, and help give our adoptable dogs the adventure they deserve.
Ask the Experts | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
: Grab another cup of coffee and join an open Q&A with two of Ojai’s trusted dog experts.

Wild Table/Wild walk

Walk | Eat | Drink | Socialize | Be Happy
Wild Table, Wild Walk is an intimate evening of walking, gathering, food, music, and conversation in Ojai’s East End. Guests will begin with a guided social walk through the orchards (2 miles), then return for a happy hour and beautiful dinner by Chef Karyn Krauss Smith beneath the heritage oaks, live music by Tristan Prettyman, and a conversation with authors Lauren Duke and Libby DeLana.
Each guest will receive a copy of Libby’s book, Do Walk, an automatic pre-order of Lauren’s book, This Walk Will Change You, along with a handmade walking talisman created especially for the evening. A portion of the event will support the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy.
Wild Table, Wild Walk is created in collaboration with Wanda Weller and Elizabeth Del Nagro, the curators of The Wild Table, an intimate Ojai dinner series devoted to seasonal food, thoughtful design, meaningful gathering, and connection to place. Together, Wanda and Elizabeth create experiences that invite guests to slow down, engage with the natural world, and gather around a beautifully considered table.
